Ya, it can be a real hassle. [...]

Oh sorry, that wasn't my intention :-[...

A major part that would contribute to the decision is implementing things like the feeding, pooping, cleaning, fighting, training, etc. engines and all
*rofl*

Well, the sprites are all made with a Tool that was coded by Spellshaper (he was an omnimaga member, too - or is he even still member?) and me:

Draw 'n Map

I wonder if some sprite masking with a white outline would look good and be fast enough?
Hmmm, I tried it several times but (using xLIB) that would actually cause a major slowdown  :-\

That brings me to another idea... If tr1p' was still around, do you think we could make him implement a greyscale tilemap engine?  :P
He could maybe add some optional parameters including the second tileset and stuff?

Just an idea...

p.s.
yes, I am advertising  :P

You could write it in 84+ Basic utilizing xLIB, that would on the one hand ensure that as much people as possible are able to contribute, and on the other hand it would expand your possibilities to a level, from which almost everything is possible.

Oh and If you need help, I could e.g. take care about the menus - I love making menus  ;D

The Structure of the program could be like this:

Code: [Select]
[Launcher] (in RAM)
- copies the Sprite-Picture to Pic0 (in order to make it usable for the xLIB Sprite engine)
- sets up a list for the savegame
- contains the main menu
- copies the main subroutine (in Archive) via an xLIB-command into RAM and executes it.

[main subroutine] (in Archive, as XTEMP in RAM)
- manages the main function and calls other subroutines via xLIB-commands (if needed)

p.s.
The sprites definitely rock.

Ah, I see. However...
Happy Easter :)

Ah thanks, I'll test it...

Hey, someone likes it :D

Are you trying to go somewhere with it?
No, since tux racer uses modplug, not mp3.

But if someone wanted it for free software, one would get my permission to use it.

22
What about this one? It might be used for loops somewhere...

Tuxy Loop.mp3

tuxy loop 1.4.mp3

In all cases, the emulator is booting correctly.
I'm happy to hear that.

Btw: Anyone deleted my post? That was not meant to sound sarcastic...

Seriously, this adds much more value to all 83+/84+ Projects(!)

Does anyone know how to transfer Apps to TilEm [0.975] ?
I read you need to give a header or something?

Is there any proper 83+/84+[SE] emulator for windows that can [when you have added the required roms] receive files (both ram and archive) and take animated screenies out-of-the-box?

a) I included the latest version. But xLIB doesn't work on TI-84+ OS 2.53MP or higher!? [wtf]

b) Thank you, I made all the tiles by myself^^ - but maybe I should modifiy the sprite for the floor, you are right, Raylin.

Yeah, but never seen them making a vid so I posted this Tongue Indeed girls seem to prefer games like ZTetris, [...]

Yes, I agree because [in my opinion] girls tend to be more casual-oriented about gaming (and coding) in general.

I  only know very few female persons (in real life!), who are seriously into either gaming or coding...

Well, at the moment I would highly recommend the Windows 7 32bit, since I used it for a long period of time on my Laptop (which was manufactured 2009) and had no Problems with it. (I never needed more than 3.25 Gigs of RAM btw)

Quite the opposite: e.g. my internal subwoofer works properly on win7 only. On XP, the subwoofer is either quiet, or buzzes something that doesn't match to the sound of the speakers. The curious thing about that Problem is: it only occures when playing Windows-Sounds, so I ended up with disabling the Windows-Sounds on XP. Secondly, any game I use that runs on XP, runs on Windows 7, too. The games that don't work anymore on XP (because of the Hardware, which is quite up to date), don't work on Win7 as well. (e.g. Dungeon Keeper 2, Cossacks)

Oh and you should take this into consideration: Windows XP Mode Download
