i know, some look grayscale. trust me. all of them are monochrome. this was from messing around with axe logic.

Axe / Tilemapping efficiently

does anyone know what routine is best for tilemapping? i only need 8 or so different tiles. builderboy's method seems pretty good, but i was wondering if there's a more efficient way to manage a tilemap? also, size plays a factor. i'd rather not use
deltalist(_tilemap data_)->GDB1
as that takes up a lot of size.

hello again. i learned a few things from my spike sprite posting mess, and here is what i would like:

8x8 spaceship sprite. it can face any direction.
3 level grayscale.

could someone make a sprite of spikes for me?

except sideways, so the spikes point to the left. you will get credit in my program.
