Hi, newcomers, my name is Nelson. If you look under my username, you will see that I am also a newcomer. As you venture into the world of calculator programming, the people here at omnimaga.org will become like friends, or acquaintances. So, let's talk! Talk about anything you want to see on any calculator. I don't care how dumb it is, just go ahead and say it.
Sincerely,
Nelson, neophyte ti-nspire basic programmer

would it be possible to make minecraft using a raycasting engine? I know that someone already discussed this, but when will somebody get started? and can someone give me instructions on how to raycast, and make a 3d game using the nspire? I'm 12, so I have no clue on how to do this.

General Calculator Help / TI-problems
« on: November 10, 2011, 04:50:58 pm »
Hey, guys, i didn't want to say anything off topic on another post, so i started my own. i am having troubles with my ti-84s at home, including my ti-84 keypad for my nspire. Ti-connect won't show my device. Also, when i try to put mirage os on my 84 keypad, it reboots and clears the ram. I have tried freeing space, but it always does the same thing every time. and Tilp becomes unresponsive alot of the time, and I have to close it out.
Please help meeeeee!!!!!!!!!!

You guys, this game is pretty awesome. The only problem is that blue's turn lasts for about an hour. I may just not be doing something right.

TI-Nspire / NES EMMULLLATOR (FOR NSPIRE!)!
« on: November 10, 2011, 12:21:04 am »
hey guys i was thinking that we could remake some nes games for the the nspire, using lua, and then make an nes emulator in lua to play the games with. the prob is, somehow, i would have to find a way to give the emulator access to the files on the nspires ram, which i haven't learned how to do.
well, i have all of these nes games on my computer, and i can't play them because my nes emulator isn't compatible with computers without flash player. please help! javascript:void(0);

sorry, I accidentally clicked post twice. I'm impatient :)

Also, another ti-nspire linking program. TI-nspire student software sucks, since, like websense, it has so many restrictions.

175
How about angry birds for nspire?
And maybe an equivalent of MS-DOS so I can practice hacking on my nspire. We seriously need to find an easier way to hack this virtually unhackable calc.

I know this doesn't have to do with the topic, but I may be the youngest person here on omnimaga.com.

How about a Lua NES emulator?

I'm a TI-Basic developer, but I thought that y'all could use lua to make a new nplayer. I already started a new topic about it.

Hi Guys. I'm a neophyte TI-Nspire BASIC program developer. I was wondering where I could find some Lua scripting tutorials, so I could be a part of this new project I just thought of. Tell me whether or not this idea is worth spending precious time on.
