The Axe Parser Project / Re: MIDI To Axe Music Converter
« on: February 19, 2011, 11:39:32 pm »
I was wondering if you could add the convert to Prgm feature back in.  I keep on geting ram clears (from my own doings), and I loose the music because it has to be unarchived when running my program.

Never mind.  I was doing something wrong.   ???
Other than that, it is a great feature for Axe.

The big question: Will it be allowed in school testing?

EDIT: Actually, the big question is: "How much does it cost?"

General Calculator Help / Re: TiLP Installation Problem

@DJ_O
Sorry, I'm a N00B. :P
How do can this topic be moved?

Thank you everyone for the help.
Darl181, I try my best not to run cmd on a public computer because people tend to freak out.

Edit: Thanks for the library installer.  It solved my problem.  My firewall probably blocked the installer from accessing the internet.  Thanks.

General Calculator Help / TiLP Installation Problem
« on: February 17, 2011, 12:47:58 am »
I have been using Ti-Connect for a while and noticed it has many problems.
I would change to TiLP, but I am having many problems installing it.

Windows 7 Home Premium
64 bit
4 GB Ram
2.4 GHz Processor speed
AVG 9.0 (Paid) antivirus

First of all, I encounter an error with my antivirus.
It says that dhasetup.exe is a trojan horse.  The first time, I blocked it but I allowed it on my second installation.

Then I can't figure out how to install GTK+.  I selected the option to install it, but it always says libatk-1.0-0.dll is missing.

Finally, I tried installing GTK+ on my computer, but I can't figure our how and where to install it to: The readme says "You are
expected to know what to do with it, more or less."

Everyone seems to be having an easy time installing it, but I couldn't even install it on my Vista.  What am I doing wrong?

This is great!  This will save me time and energy for adding music to my games.

Whoops, I just noticed I replied to ralphdspam on a different page... :D

I actually had Huffman Coding in mind when I requested this feature.  It would save a lot of space in my code if I could just work with individual bits instead of having to test the entire byte for the individual bits.  (if that made any sense  :P)

I would also like to be able to read/write to bits instead of just bytes and nibbles.

Thank you very much! :)
Would it be too much to ask for a code example in Axe or BASIC?

I meant to ask for the best way to format the lookup table.  (Sorry my question was too vague :P)

Can someone explain how to save a tree for Huffman compression? That would be helpful.

I don't think anyone has asked this before:
How does the Copy() command work?  I can't seem to get this to work.

Could they actually be swapped? I think I had this happen with java programs before, my computer could run 32 bit java programs but not 64 bit ones, even though I run a 64 bit OS...

No, I already had the x64 version installed (I actually reinstalled it and re-downloaded it multiple times).  I just installed the x86 version of the MSV C++, and the program worked.  (For a lot of codecs and libraries I end up having to install both the 32 bit and 64 bit for the program/file to run properly.)

That's odd.

Try installing both the x86 and x64 versions. I have no idea where I heard it, but I feel like sometimes it errors on 64 bit machines that only installed one.

x86
x64

Thanks.  I just had to install the 32 bit version.    ::)

I can't convert the wav file  ???
I am running 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium.
I DO have the C++ runtime installed.
For some reason, the doubleclickme.bat says I do not have MSVCR100.dll.
When I checked C:\Windows\System32 there IS MSVCR100.dll
:banghead:  Can somebody tell me what i am doing wrong?
