Pokemon Red ULTIMATE EDITON

Here is an modified version of Pokemon Red.
- all 151 pokemon are catchable
- it features the pokemon black and white exp system
- the difficulty has been drastically increased (you will lose a lot >:D)
- all trainers, gym leaders and the elite four have different teams
- some pokemon have different types, stats, etc.
- some moves have been edited
just download it and enjoy :D
(pro tip: play it on the ti84 using the ti-boy ;D)

yes it was an ips patch, but i'm not sure what went wrong with the file ???

You might want to attach it to the post above, then when uploading, instead of using an actual file, use an URL to the attached file, then ask Derpy/Sorunome to approve it again

Have you first patched the ROM, and not just sent the ips patch? You have to patch the ROM with a utility like Lunar Magic to apply the edits to the ROM and then send the ROM to your calc.

So, I've been playing this a bit and I found an inconsistency. When you first fight your Rival in the lab, he has an Eevee. When you face him for a second time (west of Viridian city) he has a Bulbasaur instead.

IPS patches are designed to be voided of all proprietary code/binaries, avoiding copyright issues. THus sharing patches are legal, sharing ROM is illegal.

so? he caught that one in the wild
that was intentional

I think the point that AOC is trying to get at is that the rival pretty much always, or nearly always keeps his starter or an evolved form in his party throughout the game ;)

It's your hack, so it's entirely up to you. It just seemed very odd and like an error to me though (for the reasons turiqwalrus stated). That's why I mentioned it. :)

have you converted Pokemon Red into an app?
then you should load it into your calc
