the keys that control the speed at which you scroll are still active during ship mode. meaning that by holding down [graph] while piloting a splitron still makes the screen scroll at the fastest speed. i'm assuming that ships moving diagonally across the screen in under 4 seconds isn't by design  ;) though it's pretty cool to watch.

I found a bug where pressing "clear" will always exit the program, even during a menu.  Please do not report this bug to me since I am aware of it.

The ship won't reach the edges of the map completly it seems. Also the ship facing direction is not changed when trying to go outside of the map. I think it should probably be facing horizontally when moving up-right, for example, like in the screenshot.

You're right about the direction being incorrect for map edges, so we will fix that.  As for the ship not reaching the edge of the map, that's a easy (but long) fix that I will take care of later.

Lol Hot Dog you edited my post instead of quoting it. I did that often when I joined Epic Programming Studio team ;D

I apologize, but I forgot to turn on the automatic power down on exit of the program.  I will have that fixed in Alpha Build 3.

Do your best to avoid the placing your cursor over the "Operation Centers" found at the corners of the map.  I'm going to remove those in the next build, but every map will have one for each player when I get the "Game Startup Code" working

Hmm, I am a bit confused at what you mean. Do you mean like the command centers/main buildings stuff? Or do you mean tiles with special properties?

At the beginning of the game, there is one Operation Center (http://ourl.ca/3908/71943 (http://ourl.ca/3908/71943)) at the upper-left hand corner of the map, and one at the lower-right hand corner of the map.  If you place your cursor over those two Operation Centers, I don't know if the game will crash, but it will certainly freeze for a few moments.

In alpha 3 ships still can move faster when holding down the [graph] button. Second to that I got a bulding error. A building was seemingly building for a infinite time, first off all it seemed as ifit was building normally but then the progress bar screwed up, a few secs later the progressbar restored, completed and begun again (so basically all progress was "undone") after this happened for a while it finally completed but the building did not appear, there were just these under construction tiles. I can't recall if it displayed health etc when moving the cursor over it but I believe not. It was a transformation gateway btw and I had one or tow other buildings under construction at the same time, those did complete succesfully though. I think i'll be skimming through the engine a little, altough I can't comprehend everything in there a fresh look might found the error more easily (long story short, i am gonna try to find the bug). I have not after this happened used SAD Alpha 3 so I don't know if this is a common error or not.

Just thought you need to know

Are you sure it was a transformation gateway?  I did find an error just like the one you described, but with an ACC
