Duel Tile Map Maker
(1/1)
Builderboy:
Jumping on the bandwagon here! This is my map maker/editor that i have used to make rooms for Serenity. It uses my patented* duel sprite technique to create the maps, and so has a vast number off possible tiles.
[arrow keys]: moves your cursor
[2nd]: Lets you input a string of 2 characters, displaying them where your cursor is
[Alpha]: brings up a screen of many special chars and lets you select 2 for even more possibilities
[Clear]: Clears the current tile
[Mode]: Repeat the most recent tile
[Enter]: save to Str1 and Str2
I'll get a screenshot up as soon as i get calcapture back up and running
*Not really patented :P

Yay! Hmm, now if only I could test this out...
DJ Omnimaga:
Lol I think everyone will have one now XD
But I guess this can be a good idea to have map editors for many map formats instead of just one. I personally wish I had one for ASCII but faster than Vuurrobin's

Yay, as Builderboy (but only him until now) already knows, I'm working on a game with graphics like Serenity so I'll use this a lot.
It looks good, only I'll have to void Builderboy's warrenty and modify it for 9*15 instead of 9*14. ;D

Okay, I'll make my own map editor for 16*8 maps on the homescreen that will either save to Str1 or Matrix A and release it on Monday. Add one to the map editors recently released count then. :P

Another Edit:
I tried to load and it Errored, saying prgmDisplay is missing...
Builderboy:
Oops, forgot, it shares a subprogram with the actual game used for displaying maps. I'm away from my house right now, so no calc, but when i get back I will fix that :)
