To me the frogface looks more like a really big :P than ._.. Also (http://img.ourl.ca//clean.gif) looks like something that could belong to :> or C:

I've tried using ._. before and had to use the [nobbc][/nobbc] tags

I think we should use the same type of skins for smileys. Compared to the shading of some, and the "pushing-out" of others (anti-bevel? :P) ._. just doesn't fit in. Then again, neither does :angel:.
Also, I have a feeling this might turn into that old thread, but :3 would be a cool smiley.

There was also a The Game emoticon that I posted somewhere once, where the eyes and the mouth were replaced with that text. :P
As for the weird smile face I posted earlier, it looks like someone who's watching some adult video but with a pedobear look >.<

Also, I find it funny that a lot of you don't like or are creeped out by ._.. Yet it's posted everywhere on this thread. It's spreading like the plague. It's over usage here actually suggests that you all like it instead of your intended message. :P Personally, I always thought ._. was like equivalent to the sweat drop in animes. Basically a face for when you feel awkward/embarrassed. I agree that ._. doesn't really fit with ._.. Though I do not have issue with ._. and actually find it quite funny. The :3 emoticon has been requested for quite some time, and I'd like to see it added as well.

I guess it's still nothing compared to the stuff on the old boards.

I'm okay with (mild use of) animated smileys as long as they don't change color <_<. I find that that gets really distracting and hence annoying. Thankfully, we only have two ;).
(Alternatively, would it be possible to add an option in the profile settings to disable parsing smileys? I don't personally find graphical smileys particularly necessary.)
Edit: 2222 posts! That's 2*11*101 factored, and $8AE in hex, neither of which is particularly notable :P

Anyways, I am well aware of that, but I am not going to fix it until i finish re-writing how smileys are working, that was just a quick-fix to satisfy you guys :P
