I have started using Twitter (http://www.twitter.com) a few weeks back and when I tweet about my calculator projects or about the calculator community, I always tweet #omnimaga (http://twitter.com/#!/search/%23omnimaga). So if I am saying my Mission Copter game is finished I would say "yay, finish Mission Copter #omnimaga #cemetech".
In this (http://twitter.com/#!/search/%23omnimaga) page you can see all tweets that had #omnimaga (http://twitter.com/#!/search/%23omnimaga) on them. There are not many of them, but I think that since some of us use Twitter, why not tweet #omnimaga (http://twitter.com/#!/search/%23omnimaga) Omnimaga is becoming very popular on Facebook and through gaming websites, also because of nDoom (tweets with nDoom on it here (http://twitter.com/#!/search/ndoom)). So, I think people who want to know about #omnimaga (http://twitter.com/#!/search/%23omnimaga) could tweet and find some neat stuff.
So I turn this topic into an appeal, tweet #omnimaga (http://twitter.com/#!/search/%23omnimaga) so finding stuff about Omnimaga (http://omnimaga.org) and calculators is easier on Twitter (http://www.twitter.com)!

I like this idea. I always have a #cemetech tag on mine, I usually have room for another one, and I wanna share through Omnom here as well :)

I tweet #omnimaga when relevant, and #cemetech when I want to bug the people in the #cemetech irc channel :P
I have been trying to tweet with the #omnimaga hash tag more though

I hope that is changed soon, I'd like the same thing to happen. I think it is a good idea.

I like this idea. I don't use Twitter at all, but it sounds good

Good idea. It might increase Omni visibility on Twitter, which is slowly rising due to some news, but not very fast yet.
Also I want to install a Twitter/fb sharing mod to share topics on Facebook, but the one I tried a few nights ago is ugly and the others are only for SMF 2.0 :(
I'll move this to site suggestions/feedback so it's easier to find.

I use Twitter too, I like how tweets with the #cemetech tag goes straight to #cemetech on IRC.
Also yeah, it might incrase visibility when you use #omnimaga, but I think it only works when you have a decent number of followers who don't alreaady knew about Omnimaga.

Yeah it might be nice to have those here too, although some of us uses twitter so much that it might get spammy :/
Btw don't forget Facebook too!

Like me :P All my tweets are relayed on my IRC channel, it's kinda not bad.
So yeah you might want to install a like/tweet button only once in each topic and not in every post, would be nice.
Oh yeah, Facebook. The perfect platform to tell all your real life friends how great is Omnimaga.

Yeah I just wish it appeared inside the title bar or above. Also the other mod I tried had a Digg button, but it did not show up in every browser it seems (or computer) and the mod author said it was a problem on Digg's end, and it has been around since 2009...
Some people also reported errors...

Now we have the share button we need the IRC.
How would you make this work on facebook?

Not sure. Someone would need to make a program or bot that does that.
