The alias link to Axe Parser official sub-forum (found in Axe readme) is no longer working :(
http://axe.omnimaga.org/
Mind updating it to work again?
EDIT: Seems like Galandros online hex disassembler and the OTCalc link are down too X.x
http://asmtools.omnimaga.org/
http://otcalc.omnimaga.org/ (went to OTCalc sub-forum)
You should maybe re-enable them (although maybe the OTCalc one isn't as needed, since OTCalc seems dead)

Omg, when I read the subject I thought Axe would stop being developed! D:
Few, but yes it would be nice to get it back up and running!
-
These are outside of my server. I'm not sure who pays for them, but I'll send some PMs out.
-
Erm, aren't they hosted on 1and1 or Aspiration? You should be able to edit them there, unless on Aspiration they got locked down? In which case this isn't good at all. I was sure you had full control on anything related to the domain.

Same for me too. Thought 1.0.5 would be the last version!
EDIT: Shoot are you serious? DJ_O and I thought of the topic at almost the same time?
EDIT2: This doesn't sound good.
EDIT3: About axe.omnimaga.org I meant, if that wasn't clear.
-
Erm the topic is not about Axe being discontinued. Axe is still worked on regularly. It's about the axe.omnimaga.org domain being down.
-
Yeah, I ThoughT it was Axe being suspended, when I first looked at the Topic Title but anyways...
700th post!!!
-
This is why before replying you also read the first post content too :P
-
Or what I meant to say is that I read the first post, but didn't express this properly. Wonder who manages it? Quigblo?
-
It's supposed to be Netham45, because as host, he has full access to all Omnimaga files and domains. However, he seems to say otherwise, so I have no clue who has access to the domain name. If this isn't figured out, then this is very bad news about Omnimaga itself, since in 2014 it would shut down x.x (this is when its domain name expires if nobody can renew it)
-
WAIT? Axe is discontinued?
Edit Nvm I see what you mean now
-
/me wonders if it would help to change the title of this topic, so there isn't as much confusion? x.x
-
Yeah, me too I thought Axe would stop being developed.
As of the domain names, Netham45 owns and have full control on them and all the subdomains on his server, but apparently he forgot he does. Netham, I'm sure you know how to setup subdomains and make redirections, it should be easy.
-
I clarified the topic title to hopefully eliminate future confusion.
-
good!
-
I was told at one point that the Axe subdomains and such were managed by someone else so I never transferred them.
I'm looking into what'll be required to get the backups now (I don't have access anymore).
As far as the domain goes, I have full control over it.
-
Did the fact aspiration hosting stopped being paid and suspended the old account caused the sub-domains to be locked?
-
Yes and since I thought they were somewhere else I didn't know they were there to back them up.
You used to take backups a lot, would you happen to have one of the Axe Wiki's DB?
-
This sucks, but yeah I thought all managers now had access x.x. I hope the lock isn't permanent.
And no I do not have backups of the Axe Wiki, because it did not exist when I still had FTP access.
In any case, sub-domains have to be setup on the site host if they're not redirects, since when I moved the site, 1and1 did not let me point to an Aspiration folder as a non-redirect.
-
The Axe Wiki and the Prizm one ar on my VPS, so you don't need to worry about it. Unless you want to move it on your server. Also, most of the subdomains were redirects to forums, so you can easily recreate them.
-
Or maybe he wanted a backup in case the wiki gets overran by spam again, to the point it's irrecoverable?
-
No, I just wanted to know that we still had it. Can you send me the IPs for them, or enter them yourselves?
-
Oh ok, well Idk the IPs then so you gotta ask Juju.
