I'm still not sure if the temp board will remain on ZB though, because it appears that the entire ban list keeps getting resetted all the time and IP bans doesn't work.

I dislike the general theme of Zetaboards, it has a cartooney cheezy feel to it.

I agree. As soon as I first saw zetaboards beta a few months ago, it looked hideous to me. But I'm sure it'll eventually have a "Classic" style to choose. Or, we could upload all the old emoticons manually :P

well, when an Omnimaga skin is done for this kind of software I'll prbly put back the Rules, member, search and calendar links to how they were on the other forum, so it is more familiar

and I dont like the skin because it doesnt fit at all with omnimaga, but there are no skinning forums for ZB yet :(

Hey, just heard about the temp boards. ^_^ Nice to see we're still alive. Cant wait to get back home (to the old forums) though. I hope Kevin gets an email back from tech support soon. :)
*Edit* After fooling around with Zetaboards a bit I think I like em. If they are stable and have nice skin options I think you should *consider* sticking with them.

well Zetaboards is run by the same company than Invisionfree. Zetaboard is actually an upgrade from Invisionfree and is proprietary software, unlike Invisionfree, which used a stripped down version of IPB 1.3.1.

I agree with most of you: these smilies scare me a bit. Especially these two: :-/ and ;)

Oh, and avatars work, only that you cannot upload an avatar from your computer. One thing I like about the new avatar feature is that it automatically resizes your avatar to the image size restriction. On the side note, what is the limit on avatar file size (in kB or MB)?

yeah but idk maybe they reduced space for now since it's still being developped

I'll see what I can do. This forum is temporary anyway but i hope file limits works tho. on the old board 3 ppl would upload an avatar and fill the entire space with it
