Title: I hope this is clear enough...
Post by: DJ Omnimaga on October 05, 2007, 02:17:00 am
I hope it is clear enough now that the "Active Topic" feature is not the View New Post since last visit feature now. I've named it as "Active TOpics in the Past 24 Hours" this time, and I think it should be clear even for irregular members that it wont show posts since the last visit, just posts in the last 24 hours, so they don't think the forums got like 1-25 new posts since they last visited one month ago while in fact this 1-25 posts were made in one day and that there's many more posts avaliable

Well, I have the forum index in favorites, and I simply look at the subforums to those that show activitiy.

Generally when I login, I immediately scroll down at bottom of forums and click Today Active Topic. I was supposed to fix the view new post link on TI-Freakware too 1.5 years ago but then I left and removed myself from admin from both rivereye studio and TI-Freakware, but I didn't got reinstated since I came back and then I forgot x.x

I always use the Active Topics for the sake of finding, well, active topics rather than month old topics I haven't seen. But I come too frequently for that anyway.

well, when RS is back up and running fully, you can be an admin if you wish. Right now, the admin doesn't have many powers.
