Hmm, well it does that with DJ_O because he has posts from before this version of the site.
I guess it could be something related to that.... or something.... i dont know... :P

It is indeed because of merging databases. Old posts has been merged with current accounts.

did merging also auto-create new users then? (ones that were only on old bordes)

No. Users that only existed in the old forums didn't got created.

The posts from the older users were re-assigned to their current account and post counts merged together, if they had an account on both site, but the join dates and this (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?board=203.0) have yet to be fixed.
