I don't know if this can be done, but can we use different icons for the genders? I mean, the ones we currently have are kinda small and easy to miss...
P.S. I'd absolutely love to make the new gender icons, if it is possible to have custom gender icons.

We could, I think. You would just have to change these two files:

I like the idea, holmes would obviously be the one to come up with it :)

That would be an idea, as long as they're not too high either (so it won't disrupts the member info display) and that they matches the default forum theme well. If someone can make new one he's free to do so.

actually, it would be he's. the word "someone" is of neuter gender. when it comes to pronouns, she is the female pronoun. he is both the male and neuter pronoun. it comes straight out of German.

I was planning on having the new images be the same size as the default images, anyways.

So no using neon bright yellow for the male symbol, huh?

It would be funny if there was an option in the forum profile that worked exactly like the gender icon, but displayed lobster and not a lobster icons.

A while ago someone was making an additional gender mod, but I think it was only for SMF 2. I think it would ruin it all, though, because everyone would choose Lobster as option.

I guess that could actually work, although most visitors would probably not get the reference. But again even the Omnimaga banner has a lobster in it and OmnomIRC logo slogan is "In lobsters we trust". :P
