What happened to the timestamps?
« on: August 29, 2011, 08:09:30 pm »
Well the timestamps for many of the posts have disappeared for a while already. Only the posts that were posted today and possibly yesterday has the timestamp. Other than that, I can't tell if it was last year or from 2008. Since there has been no apparent topic on this, and I checked all the news articles from June onwards, I felt like I needed to say something. So what happened to the timestamps?

What do you have your time settings in the profile set to?
Profile→Look and Layout Preferences

Try selecting "Forum Default" then auto-detecting the time zone...

You might have messed something up in your profile or you still use a time format that is no longer supported by the site (due to the hosting move last July).

Hmm interesting. It was already set to Forum Default with hours ahead 14! I had to change it to something other than forum default before i could select forum default again to make it work, otherwise nothing would happen.  Before i fixed up the date, it would autodetect: NaN. something random. Now, Pressing Autodetect comes up with 14! I swear im UTC+10.
Cool! thanks guys.
PS This happened before i reset my account username. Strange. Possibly because i hadn't been on for months before that
