Title: Selecting on the menu not working?

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this, but for me the only thing that I can pick off of the main menu is the "start" button.

I’m experiencing the same thing

Also multiplayer won’t work on it

According to Hayleia (the author), only the "smash" button works; all the others redirect back to the main menu. They have the source code here (http://ti-pla.net/a110486) if you want to look at it. In particular, the SMASHC2 file has the main menu code.
