What do you mean? Like DispGraphr, but displaying black instead of gray for a 1 on the back-buffer? That'd be nice and probably pretty small (just OR the two buffers).

It would make it nice, in black and white games, to have collision checking between two things this way.  It would have some major speed increases.

And it'd be nice for two-layer maps :o

Three rs might get weird, though. But it shouldn't be a problem since most programs should only use it once in the entire code.

What kind of uses would this feature have? I can picture what it would do, but I can't seem to picture how it would be used in a program. Can someone give me some examples?

Like looking down on a two-layered map: one on the ground and one somewhere in the air. That way, you can change one of the layers without having to change the other.
