Post by: TI-84Plus on June 03, 2011, 04:20:01 pm
sorry for being such a noob.
I don't get a thing of how to play Pokemon with the TI-Boy.
I have a TI-84 Plus (non silver), the TI-Connect programm and downloaded 0.1.05 TI-Boy Version.

If someone could help, i would appreciat that.

I suggest you post it Here (http://ourl.ca/10477).  More people would be able to help you there.

Also, I suggest making your problems more clear, so we can help you better.  Specific is always terrific :)

well, if you have the TI-84+, you probably don't have enough RAM to play it anyway :P
after a RAM clear, how much memory do you have?
if it's around 24000, you don't have enough.

disregard my post. thanks for the correction, josjuice.

No, that's not how it works (because TI doesn't make RAM that makes sense :P). The user RAM is always 24 KB, no matter if the total amount of RAM is 48 KB or 128 KB.

EDIT: Changed the first bit of the post. Sorry if it was offensive... (No, you don't have to remove the down vote if you don't want to.)

Hmm the first part of your post was a bit unnecessary JosJuice, me thinks. Also welcome here TI 84 Plus.

:banghead: when i try to play RBI Baseball or Baseball (World) on my TI-84 Plus, the screen freezes on the TI-Boy picture (Ti boy created by CALCMANIAC out the box programming etc.) and for baseball (world) the game opens up but it freezes on the title page, there is a one player mode and two player, but no matter what i press, the only things that work are the on and clear button.

First, don't link to Rom sites here. It's against the rules. Second, the first game you linked to was an NES game, not a gameboy game, so that's why it wouldn't work. TI boy is only for original gameboy games.
*Edit* also you can always use the edit button if you have something quick to add instead of double posting. :)

Ti-boy is an emulator, and emulators rarely get 100% compatibility.

Also how do i change an NES file to a gba to move it on to my TI-84?
I don't think you can change a NES file to a gba file, unless you embed both a NES emulator and the NES rom in the gba file.
But if you're using tiboy, there's no reason to do this anyway, since tiboy doesn't support GBA. The only supported console is the nintendo game boy (b&w version (.gb files), gameboy colour roms aren't supported either)

Nes games and GB games are completely different. You can't change one to another.
