Post by: sid8911 on July 12, 2014, 08:52:43 pm
Does anybody know which hardware revision(s) this packaging would contain?

Considering that it's red, I think this is a fairly recent version. However, this news post has more info on how to detect newer revisions I think (although it's in French) http://tiplanet.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=12891

I think red packages are more recent in general, though. IIRC, they used to be yellow (although back in 1995 82, 92 and 85 packages were red too IIRC).

Mine looks like this and I have a rev C. I think it's the sticker on the screen that counts, and I don't have the wall charger.

Did you meant to post an image in your post? Because it's missing if that's the case. However yeah I think the 82+ is out now. The top end of the calc looks absolutely ugly, though, plus like the 83 Plus.Fr USB, that calc looks so unprofessional because you open the About menu and it's not even the same calculator model name as written on the calculator case.
