Could you show a screenshot?
-
i dont know how to :(
if you tell me then sure
btw the text that comes up is "unable to write to C:\Users\MYNAME\AppData\Local\Temp its either full or write protected or inassessible"
-
On mac use command shift 3 (it should save to your desktop) and on pc use ctrl PrtScr and it will be copied to the clipboard.
Also, you can take screenshots of your calc with wabbitemu http://wabbit.codeplex.com/

This might be an issue with this old version, not being correctly supported by Windows 8.
You can try thigns like :
- running it as Administrator, to see if this changes something....
- directly downloading the latest version from TI's website (for instance)
-
tried both
run as admin still shows the same message
latest version has different license scheme
-
ok then, call/email TI-Cares explaining the situation and they should get you a new serial number :)
-
hmm i will try that
-
i dont know why they named it TI-CARES
it should be TI(never)CARES
i tried and sent email to them and till now not even thank you we have received your email and are working on it
if someone has something else to help do tell me (i need the os 3.2 as i am trying to finish the rpg and well it is not easy if you do not have it)
-
Well, you should try either calling the phone number directly, or try the web live-chat.
-
What do you need the TI software for? There might be an alternative, depending on what you are trying to do.
-
In the meantime, by the way, you can install the teacher version demo (it lasts 3 months)
-
well i will try that
