Hi guys, I'm just wondering if its possible to run nLaunch with Linux on my Nspire CX (Not CAS!) on 3.6 (Ndless installed). I tried running Linux in Ndless, but it freezes when I type "boot". Any way to do this? Thanks!

Hi, what calculator hardware revision do you have? Check on the back of the calc and look for the last letter at the end of the serial number. I believe that hardware J and K cannot use nLaunch through regular means (if at all).

J, K and higher.

The model is P-0513J. If I can't run nLaunch, can you help me get Linux running?

It can't be done. YET

Sadly, you won't be able to. The J and K hardwares are a little different and have protections against Ndless and native code execution, which will still let you use Ndless 3.6 (since it circumvents them), but not nLaunchy. D:

Unless we find an exploit in boot2 3.2.4 or factor the boot2 keys (not gonna happen), there is no hope of NLaunchy running on rev J+ indeed.

Thanks anyways and keep up the work!
