What are the pros and cons of TI products? I hate and like my ti 83+ and ti 34 multiview.JK, ILOVE TI :) :) :) :) :)

Welcome to Omnimaga! I cannot make sense of that post. Which calc do you like and which one do you dislike?
I got some pro's and cons for some calcs:
Nspire CX
Pro:
- Nice large screen
- Plenty powerful
Con:
- Locked down
TI84+
Pro:
-Really easy to write software for
-Never runs out of batteries
-Great for highschool math
Con:
-Screen is really blurry
TI84+ Color SE
Pro:
- Backlight
- Color screen
- Charge via USB
Con
- Underpowered hardware
- Device is too slow to update screen fast enough
- Battery does not last forever
-
Thanks!!! Sorry typed wrong...I just like both the calcs, but do you have any for the TI 83+?????

TI84+
Pro:
-Really easy to write software for
-Never runs out of batteries
-Great for highschool math
lol. I can confirm, it is not uncommon to go 10 years without changing the batteries. :P

TI-83+
Pros:
- Good for high school purposes
- Runs at tolerable speed (most of the time during calc functions)
- Great for writing programs
Cons:
- Runs sluggishly (most of the time during programs)
- Awkward "square-ish" design (personally, I like the TI-84+'s curves better. feels great in the hand.)
- Has no support for some TI-84+ programs like TI-Boy :'(
There are mine ^^
Also, the TI-84+ comes with some built-in apps! Now includes PuzzPack!
-
Mine:
Voyage 200
Pros:
-Powerful BASIC language
-TI-92+ Compatible (Apps and programs)
-Large screen
Cons:
-Hard to put in pocket (I somehow manage to do that)
-Large
-Not as many programs as the 83+/84+ series
-Expensive
I might edit this when I get more ideas.
My 83+runs out of batteries quickly, even when I barely use it (almost once per month). Is that a con (I don't know if it applies to other people)?
-
-About twice the speed of the 83+ (6 MHz vs. 12 MHz [Last I checked])
That's not really a fair comparison since they are running entirely different processors.
-
Ok, I'll remove that line.
-
Thanks! :) Time for peanuts! !peanuts

I would add that the 84+ is really outdated as well. But it does the job really well at school and if you like programming I would say it's the best calc to code on.
@Prince the only time my 83+ or 84+ ran out of batteries fast was when garbage-collecting very often and to a lesser extent playing grayscale games.

I used to use mine a lot in school and it ran out every month :P
