Title: Update on CAS on CX method?

So a while back, I found this method for putting CAS on a non-CAS Ti-Nspire CX:

I'm wondering if there's any updates to that. I would like the new features in 3.9 but I don't want to go out and spend $140 for a CAS version.

is cas os version 1 not good enough? i dont know the differences and use the old version. Good enough for me. although i have like 30 nspire cx so i have both the cas and cx.
