Hey Guys ,
i just made a homebrew for the TI-nspire...(TI Basic)
this is an Dictionairy from Latin to German...(sry guys its just in german, no english ^^)
So here's the link, where u can download the file :
http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/437/43730.html or
http://www.file-upload.net/download-3400759/nLatein.zip.html
German :
Systemvraussetzungen :
mind. OS 2.1
Ihr braucht kein ndless
Installation:
1.) Datei runterladen
2.) Datei unzippen
bb all, C3N

Nice there and welcome on the forums. Unfortunately I don't speak either German or Latin, but I know we have several other users who do.
Note: Next time you create a topic please don't lock unless you require that others must not post there such as in the Axe releases thread. Normally we lock topics if the discussion goes off topic, there is excessive trolling, or there is a heated debate going on.

cool...
If I had a nspire I would use this :P
1200 words, though? how large is that program?
Ich denke das nLatein ziemlich cool ist :D
-
any chance of an engish version of this?
Looks good. Wish I spoke german. I could use this for my latin class
-
THis seems nice, also welcome on the forums. :D Hopefully this might be useful to some of our users. Also in the future, someone could maybe do an english version. :D
-
If I have time I'll work on one
I don't have much free time so I probably won't get much done
-
Ah ok. Hopefully you or the author can find some free time eventually.

Is there a program I can with this file with for computer. TiLP is having problems for me so I can't get it to my calc right now. I need it to work for linux mint(ubuntu basically)
-
i'm a german student, and i WAS really bad in latin ^^
so i thought to making a dictionairy for me and for some other in my class, who helps me to translating latin more easily...
and maybe i have enough time to making an english version ;)
lets see guys =)
btw.: i hv spent mor then 2 months on this project...in the next time i will adding some functions like a "searching machine", when u r not able to find the latin word.

Ah I see. That's a lot of time so far. I hope it helped you a lot. A search engine would be nice, assuming it's possible in TI-Nspire BASIC.
-
i know, i already tried to code the search engine with if and elseif...
it's really confused...>_<
-
DJ I am using Linux and TI does not support linux in any of there software. even the document viewer says unsupported family of OS's only Macintosh and window are supported.
I might just write a version of this in Lua for speed and power.
-
You can also download nlatein from ticalc.org
look here : http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/437/43730.html
-
Interesting.
You might want to provide the source code, for people to be able to port it and recompile it against future versions of Ndless.
-
ehhmm...u dont need ndless for nlatein...
i just called it nlatein.
i just programmed nlatein on my os 2.1, so this nlatein work only on 2.1 upwards
-
Oops. My bad :D
[EDIT: actually, I know why I thought nLatein is a Ndless program: it's in the "TI-Nspire Assembly Misc. Programs" of ticalc.org ;) ]
-
opps ;)
sry but i'm new here and didn't know, where to put my little programm
-
If it is in BASIC, it would go under TI-Nspire BASIC Misc. Programs and if it's in Lua, TI-Nspire Lua Misc. Programs.
-
Maybe I could help to make an english version. I think I'm a good translator, because I also speak German. :D
And if the code is simple, I could maybe convert the program in TI-Basic.
