nleash and oslauncher still not working!
« on: January 21, 2012, 12:27:27 pm »
I put oslauncher and nleash on my nspire, and none of them worked. nleash said that the file type is not supported, and oslauncher rebooted my nspire, and did not work. I really need cas on my non-cas nspire! please help! neither does blockdude!

The reason why they do not work on the CX and Ndless 3.1 is because those programs were made for Ndless 1.0 and 2.1, so the authors will need to edit them or recompile them manually for Ndless 3.1 compatibility.

Also I don't think Nleash is currently useful at all for Ndless 3.1, because OS 3.1 is the latest OS by TI, meaning you have no more need to downgrade. That's unless in the future you absolutely wanted to go back to OS 1.7 or something, but aside from its smaller file size, I think it's useless.

All of those programs were compiled for Ndless 2.1 back in 2010, so it's inevitable they won't work with Ndless 3.1 until the authors update them.

You don't need a CAS on the SAT if you are proficient in basic mathematics. Any little four-function calculator would do the job just fine.

I want to downgrade it so I can use nplayer & oslauncher (until an updated version is released), and blockdude. And a few other programs.
And, because like DJ_O said, the file size is reduced. That means more gbc on my nspire.
