Aichis Adventure - Basic/xLib RPG

- Story -
You are Aichi, a guy being sent from his mentor to the fairies clan. The clan leader Raito was kidnapped by a malicious wizard named Yami. Now it's your mission to rescue Raito before Yami will realize his dark plans with Raito. =O

- Gameplay -
The Game contains 19 levels plus a boss fight agains Yami. You're able to save your state and continue later. On the map are perls and vases containing perls. Collect as much perls as you can. If you made a mistake in a puzzle or lost the boss fight, you will be able to pay with perls to reset the level. When you finished the misson, your remaining count of perls will be added to the highscore list.

- Controls -
Arrow Keys: Walk
MODE: Pause; Display status (Press 5 to save & quit)
ENTER: Validate a dialog box
8, 4, 6, 2: Attack

- Note -
Make you sure that everything (the xLib pic too) is archived. The program gets ERR:MEMORY very fast. ..And sorry for my english. ^^'

That looks great!  Are you planning to have the character able to look multiple directions?

yunhua, this was a game he made some time ago and then halted without ever completing
he may have changed his mind, though (hint hint)

it looks great; i'll test it out in a bit!

I liked this game. From BASIC standards the walking speed could maybe be improved slightly, but otherwise pretty good. :)

This project is already finished since a while. I put only the most important things into the main loop to keep as much framerate as possible.^^
I start project for a second chapter using Axe maybe, where you could use your sword even to fight with different enemies and with multiple items and skills, so with more Zelda elements. I have to search for a new rom image for wabbitemu, before I start a new calc project.
Also, I wonder why the download lost its approval by editing only one word in the description. I think re-approving is just necessary if someone upload a different download file. :)

Yeah, I don't think it's approved right now, since it disappeared from the bottom of the forum page and it says "not approved" on the My Files page. However, I hope it will be back soon. :)

Calc Projects is probably more suitable than discussion and news, so you can shift this topic. It's no longer an active project, though.

Yah I hate when that happens. I wish SMF did like ticalc.org and kept a copy of the original file until the new one is approved. Of course you can always upload a new copy and I replace the old file with the zip file, but in that case you must warn in the description that it's a new upload, so I won't accidentally erase your download count or end up with duplicate files.

Unfortunately I cannot post it ungrouped because you used hacked picture files (on calc your picture is Ex). Those cannot be ungrouped on a computer. Why can't you send it to your calculator, though?

I would like to help, but I do not know which number the pic uses. If I knew, I would repost the pic under pic1.8xi. :(

I borrowed my MiniUSB <-> USB cable to a classmate and Wabbitemu doesn't open my group.  <_<
The pic number is 44, I think.^^

Ok I'll check.

This is why I discourage using hacked pics when you have limited ways of backing up stuff on your real calculator, because they're much harder to transfer. I learned this the hard way when working on Reuben Quest X.x.

It's best to use pic 0 through 9, even if it means they might conflict with other programs.

EDIT: Here we go: I ran real(3,44,0,1 from the home screen then storepic 1. I extracted pic1.8xi from Wabbitemu.

The current version of The Game may no longer work correctly, I had repaired it and was therefore able to send it to someone who is let's playing my game. :3

Sorry to hear the current version no longer works. I hope you release a new version eventually (in english). Also the vids seems nice, now if only I could understand D:
/me wishes there were more Let's Play calc vids or reviews...
