Yes that's right guitar hero for your calc.
btw those things that happen when you score are lightning bolts.Yeah I suck at sprite making.
Right now I'm adding different difficulty levels and fixing the hud.

Sure why not just use the graph keys that correspond to the proper space.Song makes no scene atm considering I just made it for testing purposes. You can write your own song 0 stands for first space 5 is for last one and 13 does skip.Store the list into L1

nice! your TI-BASIC skills are something else, even with the libs.

Well, first try... I hit the ON key to stop it since my window wasn't set right. Causing a RAM clear. (no worries there though)
Second, still didn't have the right window.
Third, everything was fine. But... all I know is that my score is OVER 100, but not how much since there wasn't any room for a 3rd digit. =P

Overall, impressive. Weird timing though.

Whoops forgot about those things and I'll fix it to support 3 digits.

I wonder...

I remember in xLIB xLIB Revolution and SMSD that the timing was a bit off, so waht I did is that in the options I allowed the user to change hit detection to before the arrow reach the top of the screen instead of after it did. Since my game only had one single timing check (arrow had to match, else you missed, there were no boo, good, great, perfect, etc) some people were used to hit the key right before it scrolls up again, and some others pressed it either at the same time. That made things easier for everyone. Keep in mind XXR used the BASIC getkey though. SMSD used the xLIB one so SMSD detection was a lil different

Well I kinda cheated for hit detection it's actully scrolling about 4 pxls then getting the getkey. Fixed scoring though I'll also add accuracy.

I should be releasing new version tonight with combos hit% and difficulty levels.

I was actually, just for fun, coding more onto this at school.
Only really ended up with changing the difficulty, randomly generating 'songs', changing the 'hit' sprite, and showing a hit/total notes at the end.

The more impressive part, to me, is that I was able to understand how it all worked. (after awhile)

In any case, I look forward to see what you've got done. =D

Might just be WabbitEmu... but are the numbers supposed to bounce like crazy?
Also, you still have the bug where it ends with about 5 notes still on screen.

(P.S. On insane, at one point I got an 'Invalid Dim' error.)

Working on bouncing numbers and the notes still on screen I don't know what's up with the Invalid Dim error.

Sweet, do not know how I missed this! Hope to see you finish this baby up!

I had fixed the 'notes on screen' one by making the last 5 spots on the list (varies with difficulty) 'blank' or in my case '-2'.
Won't show up on the screen, and I'm sure you can think of a way to make them not count against you.

You know, if you wanted you could have the level data "string" not have to convert and during the detection of the keys use the expression of the string and also in displaying (you can make it express it once only and show up/detect it each loop).

Best I could do for a screenie.

I found out... I SUCK on playing this on the emulator.
On the calc, I was getting like 95% most of the time.

Yeah I suck on the emulator too. Thanks for the screeny though.
Edit:Fixed the error that left notes on the screen.

I've figured out WHY Insane has an 'Invalid Dim'.
All I'm positive of is that it's trying to read L1(129) when there's only 128 elements... how it's doing that when the repeat should stop the moment it's above the dim is beyond me.

(EDIT: I only looked at the situation [and code] for about 10 minutes... so don't hurt me if it's something stupid and simple.)

Ok if I think this new version should fix that I'll release it tonight.

I am not sure how your main routine goes, but I am guessing that the end of the list is displayed at the top (when it hits the last element)..A quick fix would be to add X amount of blanks (13 I think you use) so that the last tiles are empty.

I was able to fix it actually with the help on polynomials right now I'm changing the hud to have a rock meter instead of just numbers. In other news I finally got the real game for my wii.

Also, glad you got things working better.

Gahh!! I've been stuck making the meter can anyone make up a rough formula for the position of the meter using score and accuracy.

sounds like a similar, yet more complicated, meter than the HP one in most RPGs. I'm sure if you googled you'll find some reference material.
