So when I read 'Axe Pong' I immediately thought of the pong game that comes with the Axe Parser file, which if you've played it, is good for learning but a terribly boring rendition of pong itself. Anyways, your version is amazing! a lot cleaner too! Nice Job! :w00t:

Gah!!!! My next project I was thinking of was Pong!!!!
oh well, I'll just have to do it different. ;)
anyway, looks good. I +1ed :D

EDIT: oh wait, I see now, the stuff that I am going to add is completely different than the stuff that you put in, so that's good :)

What are you going to add parser? Because I think just about every programmer out there has made pong, so yours better be super cool! Which I'm sure it will be!

hehe, thx padwan :)
you like secrets stefan, dont you :)

and might we know what, or is it still a secret, maybe better so, bu if you really wanna tell us...

--edit--
i think this totally isn't as mine, it's much more improved like the 2-player and so...
thats really nice, but will the balls colloide, or just pass through each other?

Here's what I've got so far:
So that's what I've got so far. Any Ideas would be welcome... (although I should post this in a different thread :P)

Is your two player gonna be via calc-to-calc or versus a computer?

oh yeah, on one player you will be playing against AI, I should have said that.
and in two player mode I'm thinking of doing it two players-one calc, or doing it through the link port. (that is, If I get another calc and a cable)

I'd do the link port if I were you. A little easier that way!

Why not make another topic for this? This is Nick's topic. :)

I like the different modes in this game, but one suggestion I have is to make the ball move at different angle depending of where it's hit, kinda like the Breakout game from 2000 or so in ASM.

Well, it is not about the way it looks but about the way it interacts with the ball :).
When the ball hits the middle or the pallet, it bounces normally. But when it hits it a bit on the left side, it deviates to the left a bit. And when it hits it on the very left side, it deviates to the left a lot. etc.
