Title: Bipolar
Post by: leafy on May 18, 2011, 05:46:37 pm
Hey guys, due to time constraints I decided that making vortex wasnt going to be a viable option. So I came up with another concept that worked out quite nicely. It will still involve physics based puzzles (not as much as graviter, perhaps), but still enough to keep people thinking.

I'll hash out the details on here later as well as a screenshot, but I need to go soon, so yeah.

I remember telling everyone I would do something like this. Now I did!

You can pretty much figure the main concept from the screenshot.

This is all I have now, but I will be adding many more elements in the future.

I'm also writing this in 6MHz mode to hopefully gain some more followers, so I really need to optimize my code xD

That looks great. Too bad I can't tilemap or make grayscale. It's like this new 3DS game slated for this year but... It's... Not.

I like your sprite, and especially the way his chin bobs  :w00t:

It is, and the little bouncy guy I like. Seems a bit squarish/blockish though.

Wow, way too many cool contest entries. Regardless of who actually wins, the community as a whole wins because of all the awesome new games that will come of this. ^^

I suppose it wouldn't be appropriate then to show off my other concept of the same name? lol

A remake, basically, of tealy and orange. Never finished, never started.
(This was phenomists idea btw)
I'll upload the sources for both if anyone wants them.

Aah ok. This sucks they're dead. Hopefully someone can take over the projects eventually.
