Copied from Cemetech:
Well, I have posted that I was working on this in the pokemon purple progress thread, but have yet to reveal the final plans on this program's purpose and what it shall be able to accomplish.
Mainly, this program is for me to input data in a program, use Celtic2 with a decent interface to create an appvar, and to dump the data from the program to the appvar with very little trouble. It will also do the reverse, to ensure that the data itself is being set up correctly.
As of this moment, the following works:
:: Setting program name
:: Setting appvar name
:: Checks program size
:: Checks appvar size
:: Creates new program
Next up are:
:: Create new appvar (just basing off new program routine)
:: Transfer from program to appvar
:: Transfer from appvar to program
I figured this would be more appreciated here than there, since there are others here that might use the program XD
Will let you know when I get it finished.

True i think they usually go no-lib :P, altough someone might find an use there. Anyway that seems like it could be very helpful for program conversion because I couldn't think of how someone converted back and forth from prgm to appvar without ever messing up once in an entire prgm dev, plus he needs to keep remembering the syntax for commands and stuff
-
Yeah, and once this program is done, all you will have to do is remember names XD
This will make the.. 3rd? helper program I have made to make building pokemon easier that will get released to everyone else =p
-
Then people will be able to make a better version of Pokémon and finish before yours :D
j/k
-
lol, yeah right XD I doubt anyone else would be able to keep to the same goals I am and make it like this. =p
And.. it seems me and you are the only ones interested in this. XD
Ah well, it shall still be released to the world. =]

Well the issue is that nobody uses Celtic II anymore, most have moved to III, since it got every xLIB functions plus more features. However, I understand about your calc not running apps and Celtic II is much smaller (despite taking RAM)
-
im interested i just have not posted in a while im loving it so far i cant wait :) it looks amazing has great speed from screnies it is just plain amazing in ym eyes ......oh and it is pokemon so yuo cant go wrong eather :)
-
lol, but this isn't about pokemon, it is about a little program I am making to help make appvars and transfer data between programs and appvars XD
*is getting tired of doing it manually <<
-
yeah i agree this must be annoying x.x
I wonder if someone could make a Celtic III version?
-
lol but your using it for pokemon right?
and i actually might try celtic 2 as i like the prospect of basicbuilder and it would be easyier to use it for the users then no other things needed except for the app :)
-
yeah, using it to help pokemon along. XD
This is kind of what has held up some of the progress, along with my being hit with real life problems ><;
-
ouch same for crimson on my end well at least there is progress i have ridicuiosly glitchy stuff the needs to be fixed :) waiting for a stable version of builderboys editor then ill be cookin :) you program on calc or on computer?
-
all programming is done on calc. If I need to see large amounts of code at a time I write it out on paper. XD
-
ah thas what i normally do but i write very slopely which makes it hard to be 100% sure on copying it back
-
ah, well I have almost type writer like writing, so yeah, not a problem for me. XD
