Ohai guys,
You can't have missed my huge (and super awful) userbar proclaiming "Continuity". I continued (no pun) it from my old contest project. The original game can be played at http://www.continuitygame.com/playcontinuity/ . However, I am adding lots of things from Continuity 2: The Continuation, which is written for iOS. ($0,99 or €0,69 in the apple store)
Screenie+exec+sauce attached.

Good luck! Maybe in time for cemetech contest?
-
^^ no, not cemetech.
*points at download <_<
-
That would be hard to do the screen shifts, but awesome if you make it :D
Good luck !
-
Uh, I did that already ^^ so I know how to tackle it :D
This is the latest screenie from continuity 1: (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=8491.0;attach=7899;image)

Nice!
-
I don't have a link cable now so I can't give a screenie, but I made plenty progress :D Scrolling, jumping, falling, and stuff works you don't wanna see my code since its a huge mess, everything coded from scratch
Screenie asap! :D

This looks awesome! Ive bought and played continuity 2 from the appstore before, and it's a fun game. i want to know how you intend on implementing the tilt controls O.o
-
tilt controls, idk... Maybe I'll be omitting that. could you explain how it works?
-
when you change the orientation (0°, 90°, 180°, 270°), the gravity switches so that whichever way it is that youre holding the device, gravity is down. also, if youre falling, you can change the gravity while in midair. Since only the 4 main orientations are used, you can probably use the numpad to simulate orientation switching, and just flip the screen but not the character.
-
Thanks and I was already thinking of usin teh numpad.
-
i'm really curious to the screenie of this game :)
if it will be better than the first one, woew..
-
Added new executable +source
Try it out (btw, I remember now, it's DCS)
-
Amazing, the animated sprite is perfect imo, and the scrolling i very fluently, so: good job ;D(http://www.omnimaga.org/Themes/default/images/gpbp_arrow_up.gif)
here's a screenie (i don't have dcs7, so i compiled it to no shell)
-
Heck, I got the wrong title screen D:
Attached the good one.
-
some strange things have hapened:
the second thing happens when falling through a hole in the level..
-
Oh, those are just some things I haven't fixed yet. ;)
-
i like them :) i think it was wabbit that acted weird about the zooming, everything works fine now
-
By the way, this runs in 6mHz mode.
-
I tried it, this is awesome already, good luck continuing it :D (pun non-intended)
-
Is that a run indicator I see in the top right corner? also, I really like the character sprite, he makes me think of Mr Game and Watch.
-
Looks great. I like how there is scrolling now and the new size. More importantly, however, I'm glad you revived this, because I was kinda sad when this originally died.
-
Very very nice adaptation. I made a little trip in my RAM after falling in a gap. ^^
Will you copy the original levels or build your owns ?
I remember that some of them were really...tricky. :P
