I see you used CIII... In the new version I've just posted, Celtic III doesn't display correctly anymore. :(

EDIT:
Nice you beaten me up to it {AP} :P

Yeah, I plan to make 8 different maps, with different scenery.

Looks nice as always :)

That makes me wonder: since the game is for 15 MHz calcs, do you think 83+SE support should be ditched? I hear fewer and fewer people saying they own one and they've been discontinued for almost 6 years now. Seems like today, most people have 84+ and Nspire calcs and some still have 83+

DJ, what does he gain with the 83+se support gone?  I do not think that's a good idea, as it's another calc that can't be used to play this game.

He gains use of the time function.
That's about it.

My new project is most likely going to have to do the same thing. Accurate timing is just too important in some games.

Well, the 83+SE is the only 15MHZ calc I have.

Same here.  I don't have the investment to get any of the newer models

The 83+se is the only calc I have with full xRam, if that's an issue.

Aaah ok, didn't realise that many people here still had one. I figured most didn't because most of you have been around for a short amount of time, like way after it got discontinued. It's hard to find a 83+SE these days. I guess if there's enough demand then a 83+SE version should be done.

I WILL do an 83+ version. The clock is just as a gadget, so that you don't overplay the game too much. It doesn't play any role in anything other than the GUI on the left, so it won't be a problem to remove it. Right now I only have the 84+ version 'cuz I don't want too much program versions on my calc and getting them all mixed up.

EDIT: @ {AP} could you possibly make a screenie of the newer version? Or anyone else quick enough. :P

Where is the newer version?  I'll help once I find it. ;D

I tried something new... tell me if you like it. =P

(Oh, and I ended it with [MODE] since that's the only new feature other than the nifty spinny coin. =D)

Excellent work, sir! I like it!

I tried making an 8x8 Axebeak sprite.
I failed. D:

Nice ^^

And {AP} I like how you did the screenshot so it has the calc border in it and still look nice in animated gif

I think calcapture has the option to set the window, so you could set it a bit bugger than the screen size to capture part of the calculator.  I use this to cut off the unused row/collomn on the right and bottom of the screen :)

Yeah I know. I think that might be what he used, but again, I tried before and the colors went terrible unless I chosen grayscale mode

Nah, I just recorded the screen with a normal recorder. In this case, using Camtasia Studio.
Then just produce the recording as an animated gif.

Cool, didn't knew it could do gif recording. I looked for an animated gif recorder or something that converts AVI to gif for ages and couldn't find anything that is free

From what I can tell The gif format wabbit is currently using is incompatible with Firefox and Opera. It works in IE.... but IE doesn't support full speed animated gifs. I'll report my findings at revsoft later today. I played around with this for a while today. Grayscale screenshots dont work either.

Aaah that might be why. It is not a major issue for me, though, as I still use a Wabbitemu build from 2008
Title: Re: Screenshots

For me it is a problem, as I'm using the most recent version of Wabbit Emu.

Well, I reported it. Hopefully they'll be able to track down the problem soon.

Spencer just released a new version that he believes is fixed.

I think the best way to get it fixed as fast as possible is to report Wabbitemu bugs to Buckeye on IRC when he's on, and if he can't fix it or is too busy, report the bug on Revsoft forums

I'm not sure if it's a new version, but the download he(Spencer) links to on the revsoft forum on this page http://www.revsoft.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=20818#20818 (http://www.revsoft.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=20818#20818) works wonderfully. I did not link directly to the file as many sites don't like it or prohibit it.

Omnimaga has no such rules, but I don't know on Revsoft's ends. Thanks for sharing, though, because I sometimes don't check RS forums regulary
