Title: Escape
Post by: ztrumpet on December 08, 2009, 04:10:33 pm
Here's my 15 or less percent finished game.  I havn't coded on this since this summer.  It's dead.
I wanted to make a RPG, but with many rooms.  I decided that storing each room needed to take as little room as possible.  The method I used was storing a number for each room to rand.  It worked, but rooms didn't mesh together at all. Because of the difficulty for finding rooms, I lost intrest.  I'm uploading a screenshot so you can see how it was going to look.  The code is riddled with placeholders for what was to come, so if you see the code that is why it looks wierd.  The best parts are the menus. :)

Interesting idea.  I can't wait to see what this will be when it's closer to completion.
