Could I possibly be working on something huge?
Maybe... ;D

-
No spam. But, I have been working on a Shin Megami Tensei spin-off. :)

Same here i have never even heard of the game until now :(

hmm it is a basic rpg where you summon mosters to fight in a team
you can have up to four teams on the field at the same time
other than that is almos exactly like final fantasy tactics for the playstaion (for field movemnt)
in battle is where it gets complex
you basically choose all of your moves in advance and based on your speed you take turns attacking each other
depending on how you fare you may get a lucky chance or a extra attack
i hope that clears some things up :P
-
yes it does thank you :)
Also how long should it be until it is testable or finished?
-
that sounds fun!!!!! I wanna try it~
-
I agree sounds like tons o fun
-
Why, thanks.
I have some progress on it now.
But, I need to figure out how to convert a string to a single number and back again in order to continue.
-
oh ok be sure to give us a progress report when you figure it out :)

I might be misunderstanding the problem here, but couldn't you use expr()?

Another fun thing is that there are multiple endings to the game, and what you say to npc decides what ending you get. (That's in shin megami tensei devil survivor.)
-
I think he is trying to convert a string like "hello world" into a number and then back again, so expr() doesn't work.
-
Figured out the problem but the game's on hold.
At least until I get around to making the graphics.

Mhmm that reminds me Star Ocean series. If you do private actions with your characters or say certain stuff to NPCs, the affinity between your chars will change (altough there's no way to know) and the game ending will be different
-
Another thing like that would be final fantasy VII Although it doesn't change the ending just who you date near the end of game. :P

Also like "Mass Effect" for the XBox 360, I havn't personally played it(although I'd like too), there are multiple different occurrences that happen depending on how you play the game, and not just the ending.
-
Oh I got Mass Effect as well as Infinite Discovery, altough I did not play them that much. personally I did not like Mass Effect style that much, tho. I prefer more traditional RPGs or stuff like Star Ocean.
