Title: Living Balls
Post by: Munchor on February 09, 2011, 04:47:58 pm

My goal is to make a game for the TI-83+ series similar to that one.

Progress: 10%

Goals:
Highscore system; //You can see this is not in order
Physics sytem;
Getting harder as time goes; //This is what's getting tricky now.

Not sure if such thing was ever attempted for the calculator, but I'm trying, not very hard, though.

I don't have a screenshot for now but I'll try as soon as I can.

Sounds neat! Good luck and hope to see progress soon.

In fact, I've just finished the player movement engine, code and screenshot when I go to Windows.

In a couple more minutes I'll probably finish the game with 1 ball.

This would be cool indeed. Would balls go at random speeds?

Yes, the ones added later faster than the ones adder sooner as in the original game.

There could be bonuses such as shields that will cover you for one ball, or maybe during a temporary time you could jump.

However, I am having problems with physics, though.

Cool :D

Good luck with physics. I would ask Builderboy if I was you, although if I remember there are other people who got into physics recently, so maybe they could help too.

I'm not asking Builderboy because I think a lot of people already did and I'm not annoy him. I may ask Ashbad who has already made a ball game :)

As long as it won't halt progress on all your projects, though. :P

Don't worry, helping with physics is not that hard at all for me :) I enjoy it ^^

Ah good, that's good to hear :)
