A Dodgeball type game, except with the buffer shaking to make them look like their on fire, and a Simple tunnel game I made during class last Friday. ;)
on the meteor one, press 2nd to get rid of the meteors onscreen, you get one of those every 500 points, but it doesn't tell you when you get them. >:D
messed up names due to the same file attachment message being annoying. :P
Programs not uploaded yet because File upload form glitched, trying my best ATM

These are great! Nice minigames. :D Great job! ;D
-
Looking at the Cage Match, I thought of Helicopter, which inspired me to make this real quick. ;D
One button only, press up. ;) Tunnel gets thinner every 100 points, but stops at 16 pixels tall. ;)
HLCOPTER is the no stub game, A0Copter is the source. screenie attached.
EDIT: wow, I just realized how much this looked like Sir's. O.O

That's a fun Helicopter clone. I like the trail it leaves. The gameplay is really smooth and is just the right speed. Nice job! :)
-
thanks, although it's really kinda this (http://ourl.ca/6173) with different graphics. :P
-
Those look really great :) Good job.
Only going to nitpick about one thing, is there any reason that the 96th row isn't used in the helicopter game? Just curious :)
-
Looks nice Yunhua98. I like the effect on the Meteor game but I especially like how your Tunnel clone actually scrolls in the direction you're moving in. :D

Thats because I Display the next column before I use Horizontal -, which causes nothing to be shown on the 96th row. ;)

I don't really understand, don't all tunnel games scroll the way your going? Or are you referring to the fact that my ship stays put put I move the tunnel?
-
yes, the ship stays put and the tunnel moves, which does away with the nastyness of the tunnel hitting one side and just staying there, and thus making things more fun =D
coolio all around, yunhua!

Yeah. Normally in tunnel games, when the ship moves, it's the ship that moves, not the tunnel.

yeah, its really kinda inspired from RACER3D, but not 3D. ;)
(Hmm... METEOR3D... >:D)
-
And it has a relatively small filesize! :)

On the topic of minigames...
I got kind of bored last night :P
Can't think of a better thread to put it...
It's tag. You should know the rules, if not, then learn them. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tag_(game))
You are the black circle, the AI is the white circle.
The AI could definitely be smarter (if you're "it", the AI doesn't run away, but every twenty frames it selects a different random point to try to go to), but oh well. It's better than it was originally (before it'd just run away, always plowing into a corner).
When one is tagged, the one now "it" can't "tag-back" for 50 frames.
Controls are arrow keys to move, clear to quit.
It's times like this I wish I had a joystick or something...the 84's arrow keys aren't very friendly...
On a whim, I wanted to see what it would look like if both circles were AI-controlled...I kind of like how it turned out. It's the second screenie: AITAG.
-
Haha wow that actually looks awesome :D The physics makes it that much cooler, and the controls are very friendly ^^ I especially like watching the AI battle it out ;D
-
Yeah, it took about a half hour to get it working right, it kind of seems like it's doing stuff on purpose, but the running away is all random :P
Forgot to mention, this is my first AI.
What I could do with this...two-player via link cable...I only have one calc though, it would be hard to test :(
-
Nice idea! Lol I remember playing that kind of game IRL, it's cool to see a virtual version of it and with physics and AI. :D
