I decided to enter your contest (I am a Cemetechian); Runer said it would be alright. Also, I can only hope that this topic is in the right place.
My entry, which is in TI-Basic, is pretty much unnamed, for it is of an abstract theme, but is, at least for now, named Plot+, pronounced "Plot Cross". I believe it to be a sub-par name, but it sort of beat the other ideas, Pixel, Firefly, or Starlight. o.O
In it you are a box, navigating from the right side of the screen to the left, through a lot of plot crosses. The thing is, it places a plot cross in the direction that you move, making movement very difficult. You advance through potentially infinite levels (though practically one cannot get past 8 ), each one having more plot crosses on it than the last! And you are given a certain number of bombs, which destroy all the plot crosses surrounding you, to assist you somewhat. As far as I know, the idea is original, and without making any claim to have all knowledge, I hope you fellows shall concur.

Sounds fun! Can't wait :D.

Hello Caleb. I've seen you around here and there. The wooden calc you made and posted on Cemetech looked fantastic! :D Anyhow, you are certainly welcome to enter, and I'm really glad to see another BASIC entry. :)
-
Sounds like a pretty neat idea! :D
-
Yeah it sounds really cool. I should work on my contest entry but I'm too lazy. x.x
-
Cool :)
You made a wooded calc!?!?
-
He made a wooden replica of a TI 83+, non functional but very nice looking.
-
Yeah I remember seeing the wooden calc a while ago and was amazed, and also I'm glad to see you enter the contest with a nice project. Good luck :)

Thank you all for the positive comments. :) I am actually making a functional (TI-82) model that is mostly complete! You can see it at http://www.cemetech.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9193&start=20&sid=49a490ab1e0deae5dac8147d9b6b14a8 ; I encourage you to post about it there, though when it is finished I'll post a dedicated topic.

Wow that's just beautiful.
-
I would really love to see a TI calc with a wooden case/shell in action. :)
Just make sure to keep such calc protected from elements. For example, when coming back home if there's a massive downpour and your backpack or pants gets soaked.

Lets go, Sorunome! Lets go!

Alright so, I'm asking an admin, is everything in place and as it should be with my program? Is there anything else I need to do or anything?
-
I'm unsure if I am allowed to help since I am not admin, but make sure that every rule are followed on the contest news page. For example, don't forget to send a copy of your code that is commented with the game.
-
That was bad, DJ. You keep complaining about peple thinking you are an admin, but replying to my post, which was directed at an admin, is propagating that trend; the idea that you work as an admin!
-
Caleb even if there was anything wrong with your game you have already submitted it which means you can no longer make any edits but I did give it the once over and nothing jumped out at me! Best of luck!!!!
-
Nice little game by the way :). Although it is a bit simple, it works well, since I still enjoyed it and the concept is pretty interesting. :)
-
Thank you. Yeah, I was trying to avoid overcomplication, and what might be one of it's strong points is smallness of file size. I hope it makes it.
-
I thought I should pop in and say that I found this to be one of the neater ideas. It was lightweight, simple and fun, so good job!
-
Very creative. I haven't seen anything like it before. Good luck with the contest!

Thank you Xeda, I appreciate it very much!
