Update [01/03/06]:
Thanks to the people who have shown interest in this project.

Things added since last update:
-Changed the title screen to fix issues with bad LCD drivers.
-Went from 9 programs/subprograms to 4.
-Added 7 new rooms.
-I have taken out the name entry routine, as it is utterly useless for this type of game.
-Optimized all the programs for speed and size.
-More puzzles have been added.
-There is an Elevator which is used once for the moment.

Things to be added:
-More rooms/puzzles.
-Add a in game menu for exits and possibly for save/load.
-Add more to the storyline.
-Work on the read me.
-Set up for beta testers.

Right now I could send a beta out, but I am a little unsatisfied with the story so as soon as I feel adequate a beta will be sent out. If you feel like you would like to test Res post your email and I might get back to you (I don't need many testers and I would like to pass it out to people I feel comfortable with), so please don't be offended if I don't reply to you.

I am wondering if there was even screenies, I think there was one back in early 2005 when I was making Diortem, this reminded me desolate but with 8x8 sprites and b/w, pretty cool looking game

The screen shots don't run as smooth as they are on calc. Also if you see something that was in a past SS and you think it is something that would be cool in the final let me know and anything else you can think of :Dbiggrin.gif.

 I didn't steal it from you I borrowed it from ticalc.org a while back :Pblah.gif, but I took it out of the game anyways because I rather have my own code and it wasn't needed.

I spent about 2 hours workin on my code, then figured out what I was doing wrong by lookin at code from Dragon Warrior by SciCode. :)smile.gif Stupid variables... <_<dry.gif

See what I say about what? I have a very bad memory. :/ Seriously, I think I God made me on when Bill Gates said that all anyone could ever need was 640Kb of RAM. Makes me wish I could open up my brain and put a gig stick in there. A faster proc would be nice too. :Pblah.gif All I remember about that one was that I got as far as this one numpad thing and couldn't get past it because the numbers and cursor were invisible. XD

That is another thing I have to consider, I need to ask tr1p1eas permission to let people test it using the beta version. (I guess I will delay a beta until the beta is released or oked by tr1p.).

-Detection of save files, if one isn't there it will not load and return to the menu.

 It is set around the theme of resident evil for the ps1, but I haven't added zombies of sorts so I might just make it where it is vaguely similar to desolate :Pblah.gif (which is my main inspiration).

Update [01/20/06]:
This is still under development, for those who care.

This had become more of a project than I have started to make it. It will no longer be a quick little game I make, but one of my largest projects yet. From the screen shots you can see how easy the puzzles are atm.

@kevin: You are saying that Res is worth a feature, but they wont realize that? I don't really care if they do or not, but it would be nice to have one program of mine featured ;)wink.gif like many of yours!.
