ok, these are a few arcade style games I made during my trip. one requires xlib ('stroids), and the other doesn't (Slide).
controls for 'stroid: arrows move, second fire, graph quit
controls for slide: arrows move, graph quit

Nice, is Stroid the same as that game DarkAuron from MaxCoderz was working on for the PC a few years ago? I'll try soon, tho.
Nice you still did some calc stuff while away tho, I was getting a bit worried we might have lost you like most people (something usual) over summertime since when you returned you were still not very active x.x

I don't know what game DarkAuron was working on, but 'stroids is an astroid like game that runs at an ok speed on 6mhz, and I have yet to test it on a 15mhz
just tested it and it runs really fast on a 15mhz with 5 objects on the screen, I have yet to test with more...
well you kind of have lost me...but not completely, I want to finish the blue platform first...you see I met a girl at camp for one thing, and I realized that I was in the online communities to try to fill my need for being with people, and that if I wanted to actually fill that need, I would have to actually hang out with people...
I'm still going to be here, and I will still be active, though not as much as before, and I will still try my best to keep programming, but now I'm going to try to fill my life with other things as well...so fear not, I'm not leaving yet :P and I don't plan on it for a long while, after all, I am staff...

Aaah ok. You might want to be careful about Stroids, tho, because now I just remember from #TCPA logs that DarkAuron (known as Auron there) is planning to sell his game to make money, so I don't know if copyrights might become an issue for the game name
Also as I said just now on MSN: you can upload stuff in program archives when you finish stuff. Warn me when you did, tho, so I update the screenshot links (since only me can upload them directly on server). Also you must use the same format as the rest of the calc games archives
-
ah ok, well I didn't really think about that, since these are kind of unfinished games, and I haven't made any screenshots/readmes for them yet...
-
Finish them ;.;
(well, keep in mind contest ends in 2 days, tho :P)

yeah, I'm going to focus on TBP first, and then I may get back to these, but anybody who wants to can play around with the code
