I remember making an hard level once but I lost it I think. I'll try yours when I have some time.

Indeed. I got a bit far at one point but then with all the bullets it just got insane. How many levels are there btw?

It actually reminds me Kaizoo Mario World and Mario Bros Frustration.

There are 5 levels. The 3rd one is kinda a gimmie as of right now, as it's undergoing reconstruction. The 5th level should be pretty easy as well.

And yes, it's possible (NOTE: I can do it in 1 try on the real hardware)

Wow, that's really hard indeed.

Hard Mario levels remind me of the high difficulty of Grav, by bobti89, on the TI-68k platform: http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/346/34625.html
I could play a significant number of levels in the beta versions of the game, but most of the "easy enough" (to my tastes) levels aren't present in the final version (AFAICT), which makes the game somewhat frustrating :(

Oh wow I remember this. I think someone tried to port it to the 83+ a while ago, but I forgot who. Personally I prefer that people includes some easy enough levels with games, like Sam heald did with Mario for the 83+. Hard level sets or hacks are welcome, like above, but if they are included in the final product they need to come with an easier set. I remember Donut Quest was so incredibly hard too. X.x

Hmm, well level 1 doesn't seem too bad in CRUEL. Our levels are 128-column epics, sometimes. I can't beat NEEDLER despite it being only halfway complete.

On a sidenote on gimme levels: in ONEUP, #8 and #9 are gimme levels. I really should edit the level, had I still remembered the level password. (The password is encoded, one letter per level starting level #10) Oh well. Any way to decrypt levels?

There is. Open it with something like Tokens or Ti Graph Link. A few characters in on the first line, you will see the password.
