Since no-one has done anything in this thread, I think I'll add my current projects to it, I usually announce a new project and edit the original 1st post, which would be this one, so I have everything organized and people know when a new project is started.

Yes it will be on-calc, I'll edit that post to have it say that in it's description, hopefully I will get screenshots for all of them shortly.

Due to a technical error, all on-calc work in Progress has been taken back down to 0%. All of my backups, and original projects where deleted. Hopefully they won't take long to remake.  :'(

shit that sucks, that seems to be haunting lot of programmers, especially TI-BASIC ones, in the community. I hope you don't give up though.I remember the Illusiat 2002 project in my early days of calc programming and losing it and I stopped coding for 1 month and making RPGs for 3 months

Story as old as time (well TI) itself...I hope you learned your lesson like I have, hehe always back up!

true. In my case it was 10x worse though with illusiat 2002. I had absolutely no way to backup since I didn't had a cable nor a computer at home and had to get my game off my bro's calc because he needed it for school. x.x

I can't believe it... I found a old backup of my project on one of my abandon sites XD, this might speed up things.

You all probably thought that I had left you all, well I have re-appeared to prove you all wrong.  I've been having some major computer difficulties, but for now everything seems to be working to acceptable performance.  So in this brief grace period I guess I should make some announcements.

Whew... it's been awhile, I don't know where to start.  Ok, well first and foremost I guess I should announce that you should no longer expect AltimitIDE to be TI-BASIC, the Ti83plus.inc file would take up WAY to much memory.  I am either planning on making AIDE v2 into AIDE v1 since it's sorta stared and add on from there, so AIDE will start out as a DCS6(7?) ASM program... Unless it turns out that it will STILL need more memory, I will have to FLASH APP process. Also, I know Krolypto Key Generator v1.1 still has no download link... I just haven't gotten around to uploading it, but it will be somewhere, soon.  The rest... I really need to work on because there not that high of a priority at the time being.  I will work on them here and there but most strives will be towards getting AltimitIDE done before anything else.

I think that's about it, I'll be changing the first topic shortly to commend with this post.

Glad yoU're back :)

For the IDE I wonder if it wouldn't be better as flash app? Because as ASM program it will take a lot of RAM for sure and leave less space for making games/programs :(

Welcome back, and I hope that you can get the work done..The DCS asm, would be cool but the app would be better!

I was thinking about the flash app, but the problem is, I don't have very much know-how in apps.  So I was going to start with an ASM version then build on from there.  In fact I was thinking about it for just around the same reason you where, DJ Omnimaga; if it wasn't for the reason stated, I would make it a flash app.  Although, making the ASM will help me understand what to do more and less of when the Flash App version is being put togenther.  So Personally, I think even if I had the choose between the DCS ASM ver. and Flash App ver. I would go with the DCS ASM version.

If you need help with making an app or anything with assembly, come by at Revsoft.org..Sorry for promoting kevin, also an app is easily created with wabbitspasm! macros are nice and easy!

I have to agree there my old app was made using wabbitspasm and an old version of z80asmide.

Yes, but a windows version is being made by buckeye.

oooh ok, that's good I guess :). I was worried some stuff on RS was no longer gonna be windows compatible for a while last year, because at one point WabbitEmu windows version stopped being updated for over a year, then a mac OS version was developped and it seemed like only the Mac OS version was developped. Not that OS X is bad, nor linux, but most people have windows and it would have sucked if the best/most compatible TI emulator out there was not even avaliable for the majority of users x.x

As you might have seen from my recent forum activity, I am back and hopefully for quite some time now, since I finally got rid of that unbelievably slow thing that they call dial-up. Seriously, how can they charge so much for something that doesn't even fit modern standards?

Anyway...

Update!... somewhat, I've dropped some projects that I may or may not pickup later. It's time's like these I wish I had clones... but my secret laboratory is another story for another time, right now I'm in the planning stages for some sort of RPG, weather it be a port of some kind, or a original game isn't certain yet. Also, the Zelda project that I opened a poll for a while back has but put on hiatus for an undetermined amount of time.

I am more surprised that in one of the second biggest economic power in the entire world, they still got areas stuck with only dial-up x.x

Anyway glad you're back, I hope you stay active for a while including school year ^^ A RPG would be great

I believe almost everyone in the US could have access to high speed internet, but many people choose dial-up.  There are many areas where there simply aren't any cables/lines setup for high speed internet, and satellite internet companies charge exorbitant prices.  Lately I've also started seeing commercials for dial-up stating things along the lines of "in this economy, why pay more for high speed internet when you can get dial-up for dirt cheap?"

aah ok, yeah I heard about satellite internet and how expensive it was
