Title: Wabbitemu screenshot bug
Post by: Sorunome on April 16, 2012, 12:21:10 pm
Hey, I wanted to make screenshots with wabbitemu, I use it via wine 1.3.26 (via Play on linux) and every time I want to do a screenshot it gives me this popup-box:
Code: [Select]
Error in CoCreateInstance
Error code: 80004002
Doing animated screenshots doesn't give a error but also doesn't create the .gif.
Please help me!

Wine doesn't implement drag and drop properly, thus the error you see there. To get it fixed, you'll have to talk to the wine developers. As for animated GIFs, I haven't seen complaints with them and I did a quick test, no issues.

Is that related to the compiling errors you were getting the other day on IRC Sorunome?

No, I don't think so...Maybe it is related to some other errors I have I already mentioned back here (http://ourl.ca/15762/295644;topicseen#new).
I don't know if I already said that: wabbitemu has a key-press-delay of a few seconds.

Strange I do not have that key issue in Windows. Maybe a Linux-specific bug in Wabbitemu? ALl I know is that if I set emulation speed to 1% for about 5 minutes or so, when I set it back to 100%, it takes about one minute until it actually goes back to 100% speed.

On windows I didn't had the key-problems either so I think that it is linux-related.
