The last thing I think needs to be mentioned, for those who have not heard, is that Firefox has been purchased by Google. And for those who do not know, Google has become a big competitor to that of Microsoft. So now that Firefox has been placed in the hands of a powerful and well known company, it will be spread more appropriately (as far as I would think).
.

I didnt knew that o.oblink.gif. Let's hope Firefox will stay free tho

EDIT: Oh btw for those who are nostalgic http://dejavu.org/ it was posted on TI-News back in late 2004

Firefox all the way because no matter how much security software I've ever installed when I use Windows (once I had about 30 anti-malware programs all going at once and that %%%% STILL DIDN'T WORK!!!), bad things always find a way to get on my computer when using IE.

pyro_xp2k: your signature is right about IE, but Opera 9 is far more powerful, secure, and all around better at rendering than Firefox, plus it has  widgets. think a cross between the OS X dashboard and Firefox plugins. it also has  built in email and bittorrent clients

in order of my personal favorites:

Opera 9
Safari RSS
Opera 8
Konqueror
iCab
Firefox
Safari

iirc, firefox had 15ish critical security issues, and opera 8 had 1.

I tried Opera yesterday... and ended up deleting it and going back to Firefox today because Opera is really quirky (and it still can't beat Firefox's plug-ins, of course).

Even God agrees that Firefox is the better browser ;)wink.gif
