Title: I made a thing

So, I made a thing.

If that is a blank page, close the tab and follow the link again. I have to look into that. Stupid cookies.

Anyways, so far you can only use the up and right arrow, still have to add the down one and do more stuff.

That is cool actually. You should make it so after the score appears, pressing any key restarts :P

Also, just added the down arrow and made it a tad easier, meaning, gaps up to 20 px larger are possible.
Note: it is still frustrating :P

Yeah I think that's the only way to restart too, which is kinda annoying. I hope a new way is added D:

In place restart would be nice. Also, light blue on slightly less light blue is a pain. Could you add some contrast between the clouds and the background? And can you even get between every possible position combination?

Already made the background darker now, need to upload the change.

And yeah, you have to hit f5 to start again as of now, still need to add a bunch of features :P

And the collsion detection is working, the only thing is that it is punctual somewhere in rainbowdashs head, not caring about the rest of the body. That is actually a good thing, making it easier :P


Also, does anybody know some good background music for it? :3

Added simple volume controle, m is toggle mute, plus is volume up, minus is volume down

There's no sound O.O (and +/- zooms the page)

EDIT: Actually sound works in Firefox only it seems.

My highscore is 3 btw. What's the first song btw?

Hehe, as the creator of the game I never claimed to be good in it :P

Also DJ, the sound is owrking in chrome and in firefox for me, I haven't tried opera. It probably doesn't support mp3 in htmlo5 audio >.<

And there is no first song, it is piked by random off of a list ;) (which, so far, only has two songs :P )

EDIT: Next up is a death animation, some basic menu stuff, more music, and submitting your score

Ooh, nice.  I see that you used an HTML5 canvas instead of flash player.  :thumbsup:  A restart button would be nice so that you do not have to reload the page...

Noice :D, just got 21

though to have more fluctuation in score, it might be better to have a difficulty selection (changes speed and/or distance of cloud walls)

Also a leader board would be really cool if possible :D

If i did a difficulty selection i'd have to have different leader boards (don't really want to do that, lol).

And for leader board, i want to d that, but I need an idea how to make sure the client didn't cheat.....

the client would have to send the score somehow to the server, but how should I make sure the client didn't fake the request?

That's the hard part. You could encrypt the request to make it harder (though with source available there's still a possibility to fake the score).

Yeah, that's just it, a friend of mine, who doesn't know too much about programming, just randomley changed one part of the source and, by that, turned off colision detection >.<
