Yeah, it makes next to no sense. That and trying to type a brick wall in.

it's even more funnier cuz below the ReCaptcha it says Stop Spam. Read books. but it doesn't contain words

also i think you should've clicked on the listen button

Oh ok the pic is not supposed to be there? Or do you mean the picture is really confusing?

if that's what reCaptcha is becoming, then it will be hard for me and juju to go to hockey games together in the future O.O (the tickets selling site uses reCaptcha)

Well, I mean, how you type a picture in the textbox? Oh there's prolly because there's some text in it. But still. A picture. We saw pretty much everything.

I think it's more 19.

But yeah, it always takes me at least 3-4 times to get a captcha right, sometimes they're too confusing, or even they're written in Arab or chinese or even gibberish.

I remember back in 2001 or so, some were absolutely undechiperable. The worst of all were what Rapidshare had in 2008, though. It was abstract pictures of cats or something, and you needed to find the different ones, but they were almost identical to each others IIRC. I never got able to download anything from there until they got rid of those.

reCaptcha is from google so I'm not responsible xD but that is pretty FAIL!
As far as I know reCaptcha only knows the solution for one of the words and the other one is from e.g. a scanned in book and what a text-rocognization-program can't find. It helps also to make these text-programs better.
