Title: Text based irc
Post by: noahbaby94 on May 28, 2009, 12:17:26 pm
This has been going through my head for a while but would it be possible to make a text based irc similar to a chatbox I imagine you would configure it with a main comp which would show you logs then you would send the main comp commands and it would say them.

aah ok

Something cool would be a client that can be integrated directly into Omnimaga website, altough if we had something like SaxJax it would need to work without a database, because it's against 1and1 Terms Of Services to use databases for real time chats and other stuff like that

mibbit is a good example of what your trying to do. It uses ajax with a database backend. but you can embed it in any site so you dont need to host the software.
