Well, Weregoose of UTI sorta challenged me to make my site xhtml strict, and when I first started, boy was I in for a surprise... 266 errors. Well, since sunday, the 6th, I have killed the errors down to 95, thanks to Weregoose. 7 or so of them I will have to contact the adsense people, see if they can give me the code to put up there to make it correct, or see if they will allow me to update it so it will comply with the xhtml standards.
I am also trying to integrate some css into the site, so hopefully, you will start noticing faster loading times, at least on the front page anyways. :)
If you want to keep an eye on the progress, check out this link: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Ftifreakware.calcgames.org%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline
Also, rivereye and tenniskid has offered to assist when they have time, or are willing, which is great. Makes the job look a lil less daunting... :)

i hope he wasnt rude to you, sometimes I know the ppl here at UTI are kinda rude and harsh when it come to challenge like this, but it sound cool tho, i hope you can get the adsense code to work correctly too

Oh no, he wasn't rude at all! He has been helping me the whole time with any question I might have. :)

wow sounds cool! i gotta a nooby question, what's the difference between XHTML and HTML?
-
it is a mix of xml and html, though I don't know what xml is totally... the key thing is it makes sure things conform to the highest standards, which allows browsers to load the pages faster.
-
Do you plan to do this for all your pages? If not, which pages will have it?

please do not revive 6 months old thread, thanks
