I am lucky to still be alive today (home invasion/robbery)

Given where I got punched at first, you are lucky to still see me around today, because I could have died instantly. Basically last Friday I got attacked and robbed despite all doors being locked (they came in through a window) and they even disconnected my internet and stolen my phone to ensure I lose contact with the rest of the world.
This must be one of the first home invasion in Quebec City this year

Do the police think it was random, or were you targeted?

They and I think my roomate was targeted, but we dunno why since he had no debt or anything like that. Or maybe someone I had a conflict with a long time ago discovered where I live and wanted to make some cash.

Wow that's insane to hear. Glad to hear you're alive at least. Any updates on the situation?
DJ Omnimaga:
I got no news about the possible culprits but one of the potential culprit ended up in jail for different unrelated reasons shortly after the incident. I am fine now, although there's now a scar in my face and I lost $700 worth of stuff.
