Ti 84 + wont download anything

Please Help:
I just got myself a TI-84+ for my math class. Now when trying to use TI Connect with it, and I tried to put mirage os cuz yk and it just wont work what happens is it transfers but for some reason my calculator turns off and the transfer always gives me a error message. And so when i unplug calculator it wont work and i have to manual remove batteries and put them back in. After that it says RAM succesfully cleared or smthing like that. Any ideas? And yes someone made a forum of this but it was a LOOOOONG time ago so i need help ??? ??? ??? :'(

What is the error message? Pulling the battery will clear the ram, so that's expected.

Please Help:
it sometimes says different things like transfer unsuccessful a retry might work. But right now its more this device could not recognize that command

Have you done a full reset of memory like @lolpro11 suggested?

Yes I have im sorry I couldnt respod was at school do you guys have discord that would be easier? if you cant its ok


also Do i need to use mirage os to download a game?
