A string quartet I wrote a couple of years ago entitled "The Voyage of Perseus."

Nice!  btw, what instrument are you using?  Or are you using an online music generator?

EDIT: 112th post!  (Not that it means anything)

I use Finale Allegro to compose all my music.
A standard string quartet has two violins, a viola, and a violoncello.

If you like classical music like this, I've got more pieces that I've written.  I can convert them to mp3s and upload them.

I always wondered how music had to do with programming...

EDIT: 123rd post!
I've been doing this a lot lately... :P

This is quite nice. Some parts reminds me a bit of Final Fantasy music. I guess it might be due to FF using classical music often, especially in later games.
Btw, this software does MIDI files too, right? If you post your other songs, you could post both the mp3 and MIDI, so people who can play MIDI files fine but have dial-up can listen as well.

I would, but I can't attach the MIDI files.

I like it. Sounds like it has some influence (or at least similarities to another song I've heard, or played, but I can't remember the name :P). Sounds really cool though.

Weird I swear I enabled mid support. I'll see the attachments options and enable it in a few seconds. Make sure the file extension is mid, though, or midi.

Here is the MIDI file.  I'll work on converting the rest of my songs. I'm afraid some of them might be too long, but I've written plenty of shorter ones.

Cool :D

If a song is too large, you can always shrink it to 128 kbps. Quality is a bit lower but generally it does the job for internet listening. You can fit about 9 minutes in 8 MB, which is the size limit on the forums.

I've got one that's almost eleven minutes, and another that I working on that's currently twelve.

Wow o.o, quite long songs, I can't wait to hear them, though :)

Btw mediafire.com is also a good place to upload stuff if it won't fit on the forums. On another forum I used to run, musicians used it often to upload stuff when their song was too large (although on that board, the upload cap was risen to 20 MB instead of 8 )

The first six notes or so were influenced by a Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack, and I took off from there.
